Fundraisers

  • Host will need to provide official documentation for the fundraiser.

PAINTING THEME

  • You can pick a painting or wine glass theme from our gallery or suggest a custom theme. We provide all supplies needed for your art project unless otherwise stated.

PRICE

  • $25.00 a person for adults. Canvas or wine glasses (each painter gets 2 glasses).
  • $15.00 a person for kids. You will receive  a 9×12 panel canvas (3 to 13 years of age).
  • Other art projects may be created, price subject to change.
  • $50 travel fee for events outside of the studio.
  • We try to stay within 20 miles of our home base in Bristol, PA. We sometime will travel a distance for a larger party. There will be an additional charge for travel outside our normal range.

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

  • $50.00 deposits are due upon receipt. Deposits will secure your time and date. No party is considered “booked” until the deposit is received and accepted. Please be prompt with payment.
  • You will be sent a Paypal link to pay deposit with a credit card or you can mail a check to the studio.
  • Deposits are nonrefundable and can only be used as credit for future private events with Penelope Fox Art Studio.
  • Balance is due the night of your party less the deposit (cash or check).
  • Host is responsible for collection of money from guests and handing it to instructor
HOW YOU MAKE MONEY
  • Host sets their own price for tickets and handles ticket sales. We suggest $35.00 and up for adults and $25.00 and up for kids. If you include food and drinks that were donated you can charge more.
  • You will just owe us our fundraiser price, listed above, for each painter, you keep the rest.

DATE CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

  • Host may change the date and or time of your event once, 5 days or more before your party. 
  • Cancellations must be made 5 days in advance or credit is lost.

GRATUITY

  • We do not require gratuity. However, many customers want to give our staff something and ask for guidelines.  A tip of 10% to 15% is always appreciated by the staff for a job well done.   

MINIMUM & MAXIMUM

  • Events inside the studio: 15 person minimum, 20 person maximum
  • Events outside of the studio: 20 person minimum, 50 people maximum. We may accommodate more than 50 people. There will be an extra charge due to need of more vehicles to transport and more assistants to help instruct.
  • If the minimum requirement of painters is not met the day of the event, the host is responsible for the cost of each person under the minimum. Example if the minimum is 15 and 12 painters show, 15- 12 = 3. The host is responsible for the cost of the 3 missing painters.

PARTY TIME

  • Your total event time will be 2.5 hours.  Any time over that is subject to a $10.00/hr fee.
  • Tell your guests to arrive 15 minutes early as creating starts sharply at designated time.
  • For events inside the studio, you may arrive 30 minutes prior to start time to set up any food or decorations.
  • We will arrive an hour to 45 minutes early to set up for events outside of the studio.
  • Party area is in the studio only, not in the foyer.
EXTRAS
  • Guests are not allowed to help themselves to supplies off the shelf, they may ask for assistance from the teacher or instructor and our staff will gladly help.
  • You may bring table cloths and balloons for decorations only. No confetti or anything similar.
  • We are a BYOB optional studio for 21 and up. Feel free to bring beverages of your choice and snacks.
  • We will provide paper-goods, utensils, napkins, and bottle openers inside studio. Outside of studio you supply paper products and other necessities
  • Guest needs to bring ice if needed.
  • Please dress in painting attire. We are not responsible for stained clothing or paint on belongings during parties at our studio or in your home or venue.
  • Outside of the studio we ask that you provide tables and chairs, table cloths and access to a sink for painting and clean up.  This will help us to leave your space as we found it. 
  • Host is responsible to make guests aware of our policies.


SUGGESTIONS FOR A SUCCESSFUL FUNDRAISER
  • Create a Facebook event invite. On the invite be very detailed in the description about your goal and why you are raising the money. If it is a personal mission add a bit of your story in the invite so people can get an idea and feel good about participating in the event. Be very specific where the money is going.
  • Send a newsletter if you have access to one.
  • Make me (Penelope Fox) an admin on the invite so we can also invite people that may be interested. I will walk you through how to do this if you ned help.
  • Share in various Facebook groups. Some local communities have Facebook pages.
  • Create an Eventbrite page so people can purchase tickets online. This will link to your bank account or a Paypal. I can walk you through the steps on creating one. You can come into the studio and I will show you or walk you through over the phone.
  • MAKE IT AN EVENT! Have people donate food, donate raffle baskets, and have a 50/50. Some events have vendors at their fundraisers.
  • Give yourself at least one month to advertise. The adverse Facebook post is visible to the end use only for 15 short minutes. You should share and post your event about 3 to 4 times a week so people can see.

Kid Parties Ages (3 to 13 years of age)
