After-School Art Club at Doane Academy

Penelope Fox Art Studio is bringing creativity to Doane Academy with our After-School Art Club for students in grades K–5! During this six-week program, young artists will create two mixed-media projects, exploring materials that may include watercolor, acrylic and tempera paint, pastels, markers, and more. Instead of rushing through a project in one class, students build their artwork over multiple weeks, giving them time to learn techniques, develop ideas, and experience the artistic process. Along the way, we introduce the elements and principles of art, meet students at their individual skill levels, and encourage them to make creative choices that make their artwork uniquely their own. With 13 years of experience teaching art to children, Penelope Fox Art Studio focuses on helping young artists build skills, confidence, and pride in what they create.
