Are you passionate about art and education? Do you have experience working with children and a desire to inspire creativity in young minds? Penelope Fox Art Studio is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Art Teacher. Job training will be provided, and there will be many growth opportunities. If you have a love for art, patience, and a desire to encourage aspiring artists, we want to hear from you!

 

  Responsibilities:
 

• Lead art classes and workshops for kids and adults

• Demonstrate and explain the basic elements and principles of art

• Guide students step-by-step through projects from start to finish

• Create an encouraging and fun and learning environment that fosters individual creativity

• Maintain class organization and ensure a safe and productive space

• Communicate effectively with the Penelope Fox Art Studio team, school administration, and related organizations

• Provide own transportation to and from the studio and offsite events

 

  Qualifications:
 

• Experience and passion for working with children between the ages of 5 and 11

• Artistic background and experience teaching art is a bonus but not required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Patience and the ability to adapt to various learning styles

• Organized, reliable, and punctual

• Willingness to learn and grow as an art educator

• Be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
