Class Experience

​

Experience the magic of backlight-reactive art! Our campers will create artwork that glows in the dark using fluorescent art supplies and a blacklight.

 

Students will be encouraged to develop their own artistic ideas and combine them to create innovative art pieces. They will also practice using the elements of art, such as color, line, shape, form, value, texture, and space, as well as the principles of design, including balance, movement, unity, proportion, emphasis, pattern, and variety. All of this will take place under the captivating glow of a blacklight, making for an unforgettable and super fun experience.

Blacklight projects will be created during the first half of the day when all campers are in attendance. During the second half of the day, full-day students will create other projects, from acrylic canvas painting to creating still life pieces.

Age: 5 to 11

Times: Half-day 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM. : Drop-off any time from 8:00 AM until 8:45 AM. Pick-up is at 12:00 PM

Price Half-day $210.00. 10% sibling discount.

Class Requirements

• Clothes that can get messy

• Closed-toe shoes

• Morning snack, afternoon lunch if your camper is signed up for a full day.

• Jackets, hats, gloves, in the event we go outside.

All sales are final. Missed classes are not refunded or credited. If Penelope Fox Art Studio needs to cancel or reschedule a class, we will contact attendees to offer a ticket for the new date or a refund.
